Vertically-aligned CNT films can be directly grown on catalyst-coated metal or ceramic substrates. Because the CNT growth temperature is 650-800℃, the melting point of the substrate to be used should be higher than this temperature.
A vertically-aligned CNT film has a high electrical and thermal conductivity in the vertical direction rather than in a plane direction. It also shows a high specific surface area and a good electron-emission property. It is getting to be applied in the R&D of high-capacity capacitors, electrodes of fuel cells and Lithium ion batteries, biosensors, and so on.
We provide vertically-aligned CNT grown on single-side of various substrates, for examples, SUS, Cu, Ti, Si, Al, C, Quartz, SiO2, TiO2, Al2O3, other ceramics, etc.
